Tito and the Man are a modern power trio from Austin, Texas combining the blues and rock into a hard soul stew.
The band formed in early 2003 with the purpose of creating dynamic and engaging music that is both succinct and expansive;
where all instruments and players work to support the song. From their divergent backgrounds, each player brings an important
musical insight that contributes to Tito and the Man's singular sound. Jason Cagann, on drums, fostered his high energy style,
that borders on Max Roach sparing with Bill Stevenson, during his punk rock days in Sbitch. Bass in hand, Daniel Webb transfers
his skill at piano to a bottom end that paints layers of melody over deep solid grooves which fuels Jerry Ater, whose vocals
ride a guitar tone that comes flying out of the speakers - never knowing if it is hell bent or heaven sent.
The creative and dynamic energy of this band can truly be felt at live shows which are equally appreciated by critics
and fans alike.
